Local Small Businesses
When you mention Corte Madera to people around the Bay Area you too often hear the question, "The town near the mall, right?" This is not a drive through town...though we do love Amy's Drive Thru. We are proud to have a wide array of independent restaurants and businesses that contribute to the small town nature of Corte Madera.
With inflation increasing and economic uncertainty ahead, we need to stand with our small business owners and find ways to provide financial support when needed. This can include small business grants or low interest loans intended to provide the capital for building improvements or expansion. The small business tax break proposed by Vice President Kamala Harris is a perfect example of the kind of focused support that can make the difference in the success of a small business in difficult times.
During this campaign, I will be supporting local businesses like Cafe Verde, run by a family that has been creating a community for decades around good food and hospitality. Please support me in shopping local and supporting our small business owners.
